Who we are and what we provide
Multipass Shipping is operated by MP Platform AB, Sweden. These Terms govern use of our website and tools. You must have capacity to enter an agreement and authority to act for any organisation you represent. Use the service only if you accept these Terms.
We provide maritime planning information, charter estimates, enquiry and recap tools, and market observations, comparisons and experimental forecasts. Available features and coverage are described in the interface. We do not act as a shipbroker, contracting carrier or vessel operator, or bind parties to a fixture through these tools.
Public access and accounts
Features marked as free or public preview, including those available to Basic users, may be used without purchasing a subscription. Public pages may not require login; private saved records require the appropriate account access. Preview access does not promise permanent free access or unrestricted use.
Protect your sign-in details, provide accurate account information and report suspected misuse. Future paid access requires your explicit acceptance of a priced offer. Browsing, creating an account or continuing free use does not authorise charges, and we will not charge retrospectively for free use.
Voyage planning, weather and AIS
Distances, routes, waypoints, charts, weather and vessel positions are planning information, not certified navigation equipment or a guarantee of a safe passage. Verify routes against current official charts, notices, restrictions, depths, weather and vessel limitations. The master and operator retain responsibility for navigation and voyage approval.
Ship Tracking and AIS-derived outputs must not be used for navigation, collision avoidance, search and rescue, decisions affecting safety of life, property or the environment, or legal compliance. AIS may be delayed, incomplete, inaccurate, spoofed or absent. Use authoritative sources and required equipment; forecasts and alerts do not replace your own monitoring.
Chartering and commercial decisions
Charter estimates depend on entered assumptions such as distance, speed, consumption, fuel cost, freight, commission and port time. They are scenarios, not executable quotations, laytime determinations or guarantees of profit. Check inputs, units, currency and exclusions independently.
Enquiries, recaps, extracted documents and generated drafts require your review before sending or agreeing. You are responsible for recipient selection and authority to send. A saved estimate or platform-generated draft does not itself conclude a charter party. Verify legal, commercial, tax, insurance and sanctions matters with appropriate sources.
Market data and forecasts
We distinguish published observations from interpretation and experimental forecasts. Daily collection is scheduled for 01:00 UTC, but sources publish on different schedules and may revise, delay or omit data. Check reporting periods, units, source credits and collection status. Limited freight corridors, bunker sales volumes and crude oil prices do not constitute comprehensive freight coverage or delivered bunker prices.
Forecasts and historical error ranges are estimates, not promises or calibrated probability guarantees. Past performance does not assure future results. Historical collection archives are eligible for deletion after 10 days, with asynchronous deletion and 7 further days of soft-delete recovery. The current publication can retain older reporting periods. This is not a permanent archive or the retention rule for personal data.
Your material and privacy
You retain your rights in material you submit and must be entitled to upload and use it. You permit us to process it to provide the requested features, as explained in our Privacy Policy. Private records are not made public merely because the commercial workspace is open to visitors.
Check extracted text, calculations and translations. Browser drafts and unsaved notes can be lost; keep copies of records you need. Benchmark processing, service providers and retention are described in the Privacy Policy. These Terms do not grant a general right to sell or publicly disclose your confidential documents.
Data licences and permitted outputs
Our software, design and original content remain ours or our licensors'. You may use available tools and permitted exports for your own personal or business purposes. Keep relevant source credits and qualifications. Public access does not grant a general right to copy the platform, resell access or redistribute licensed datasets. Open-data and open-source rights remain governed by their own licences.
Pelyr-licensed positions must not be extracted systematically, exported or redistributed as raw data, datasets or feeds. Do not relay provider access or share credentials. The separate AIS use conditions and displayed source licences apply to their respective data; rights under CC BY and NLOD are preserved. External services, including connectivity offers, have separately identified supplier and purchase terms where offered.

Do not upload unlawful or unauthorised material, infringe rights, impersonate others, distribute malware, bypass access controls or rate limits, or interfere with the service. Do not use vessel data to surveil, harass or track individuals. Do not present our outputs as official approvals, binding fixtures or guaranteed results.
Paid services and consumer rights
Where a paid service is offered, its scope, total price, taxes, billing period, renewal and cancellation terms must be shown before purchase. Only subscriptions expressly agreed to renew will renew. Stripe may process payments. Cancel through the offered account options or contact@multipass-shipping.com; free preview use is not a subscription.
EU/EEA consumers normally have 14 days to withdraw from an online service contract. Any exception for immediate digital supply or completed services requires the information and express consents required by law; these Terms alone do not waive withdrawal. Mandatory rights concerning defective digital services, remedies, refunds and cancellation remain intact. Contact us to withdraw, cancel or report a problem.
Availability and ending access
We take reasonable care in providing the service, but do not promise uninterrupted access, complete coverage or a particular commercial outcome. Maintenance, source failures and licence changes may affect features. This does not remove obligations under an agreed paid service or mandatory law.
We may restrict access proportionately for misuse, security threats, legal requirements or loss of necessary source rights. We will explain the reason and give notice where reasonably possible; urgent protective action may be immediate. You may stop using the service or request account closure. Applicable cancellation, refund and data rights survive closure.
Responsibility and liability
Nothing excludes liability for fraud, deliberate misconduct, gross negligence, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any liability that cannot lawfully be limited. Nothing in these Terms removes mandatory consumer rights or remedies.
For business customers, to the extent legally permitted and subject to the preceding paragraph, we exclude indirect or consequential losses, including lost profit and lost opportunity. For a paid business service, our aggregate liability is limited to the fees paid for the relevant service during the 30 days before the event giving rise to the claim, unless a separate written agreement provides otherwise. These business limitations do not apply to consumers.
Changes, law and complaints
We may update these Terms for changes in features, law, security or supplier requirements. Material changes will be explained with reasonable advance notice where possible. Existing paid agreements are changed only as their terms and applicable law permit, with any required consent or cancellation rights. Publication alone does not authorise new charges or retroactively change completed purchases.
Swedish law applies, without depriving consumers of mandatory protection or court rights in their country of residence. Translations aid understanding; any inconsistency will be resolved subject to applicable law and mandatory consumer protections.
